Genny saw a bird! (Baltimore County, MD)

My inner perfectionist will not allow me to post the few sub-par photos of local Baltimore foul I have had the opportunity to photograph so far, especially since I have 11 more months to perfect those shots! But there is one photogenic bird that has helped me to learn the art of manually adjusting shutter-speed on a DSLR, and she is beautiful!

This Ruby Throated Hummingbird is the only species of hummingbird on the east cost, and this particular beauty is likely an adult female. I have seen a few other hummingbirds approach the feeder, but I have not yet had the opportunity to photograph them. I am mildly obsessed with these animals - they are so fast, adorable, and colorful - I feel like I could watch them for days!
